Officers and soldiers of Trung Ly Commune Police promptly donated blood to save lives

On September 9, 2025, the People's Committee of Trung Ly commune announced that Luc Phuc Thinh, born in 2017 in Tao village, was being treated at Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital and needed blood support for timely treatment. Upon learning the above information, Senior Lieutenant Le Duc Long, Deputy Head of Trung Ly Commune Police, did not hesitate to travel 200km from Trung Ly commune to quickly arrive at Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital to donate blood so that the child could continue his treatment.

Lieutenant Le Duc Long, Deputy Head of Trung Ly Commune Police, donated blood in a timely manner to help Thinh continue his medical treatment.

Deeply moved by the kindness and noble gesture of Lieutenant Le Duc Long towards his family, Mr. Luc Van Thoai (Thinh's father) shared: "My son suffers from congenital anemia, and we regularly take him to Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital for blood transfusions. This time, due to blood shortages, my family had to appeal for blood donations. Fortunately, Comrade Le Duc Long, a police officer from Trung Ly commune, traveled a long distance to donate blood so that my son could receive sufficient treatment. My family is deeply touched and grateful to Comrade Long."

It is known that previously, Mr. Luc Van Thoai's family had taken their child to Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital many times for blood transfusions, and the Trung Ly commune police connected them with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Youth Union to call on and mobilize union members and young people to donate blood so that Thinh would have enough blood for treatment.

The actions of Lieutenant Le Duc Long in particular, and the officers and soldiers of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police in general, have spread the message "One drop of blood given, one life saved," and clearly demonstrated the spirit of "The People's Police sacrificing themselves for the nation and serving the people."
