On November 17, 2025, the electric bus line with a maximum capacity of 60 people was handed over to Hanoi transport units Transerco and Bao Yen to put into operation in 2025. This is the latest vehicle line, researched and developed to optimize urban space, contributing to promoting the goal of achieving 100% green buses by 2035 of the Capital.

VinFast 's new electric bus line has two configurations, including 60-seat (24 seats) and 30-seat (18 seats) capacity types, integrating many modern features that can be customized according to the requirements of the operating unit.

Of which, the first batch of 66 electric buses just delivered by VinFast to Transerco and Bao Yen has a maximum capacity of 60 people, including 24 seats, 34 standing places, an area for wheelchairs and a driver's seat.

The batch of vehicles delivered in this batch has dimensions of Length x Width x Height of 8,610 x 2,470 x 3,220 (mm), wheelbase of 4,850 mm, unladen weight of 9,300 kg, equipped with a liquid-cooled electric motor, rear-wheel drive, maximum speed of up to 80 km/h. The vehicle's battery is LFP type.

The vehicle is equipped with front/rear air suspension, hydraulic power steering system, front/rear disc brakes and advanced safety technologies such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), front/rear door anti-pinch sensor system, sign system, LED lights, buttons...

Similar to the first smart electric bus model being operated by VinBus in many provinces and cities across the country, the new bus line also has a system to lower the floor of the vehicle, making it convenient for wheelchairs to move up and down, meeting the standards of a civilized public bus, friendly to everyone.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang - Deputy General Director of VinFast Global Business shared: " With a compact size, suitable for moving in the city and crowded residential areas, environmentally friendly, no gasoline smoke, no noise, VinFast's new electric bus line will create momentum to promote the green transformation in public transport in Vietnam. To accelerate the greening process, VinFast is committed to applying the best price policy, superior warranty policy and providing flexible charging solutions, suitable for the actual conditions of transport units".

In the immediate future, VinFast's new electric bus fleet will be put into operation on 04 traffic routes with starting and ending points respectively: route 05 (Mai Dong - Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment); route 39 (Nghia Do Park - Mai Dong (Den Lu Parking Lot)); route 47 (including route 47A branch: Long Bien - Bat Trang and route 47B branch: National Economics University - Kieu Ky) and route 59 (Dong Anh - Vietnam Academy of Agriculture).

According to the plan, by 2025, all buses on the above routes will be completely replaced by electric buses. The conversion to electric buses will bring the total number of routes converted to electric buses in the city to 14, in addition to the 10 electric bus routes currently operated by Vinbus. According to the roadmap, by 2035, the proportion of buses in the capital will reach 100% electric buses.

Currently, VinFast is continuing to develop new electric bus models with designs and sizes suitable for local traffic characteristics, rapidly promoting the "greening" of public transport according to the roadmap set out in Decision 876-QD/TTg of the Prime Minister./.
