The lighting system was put into operation before December 31st, creating a new highlight for Ho Chi Minh City during the 2025 Countdown event. The Ba Son Bridge (formerly known as Thu Thiem 2 Bridge), spanning the Saigon River, was constructed and handed over to Ho Chi Minh City in April 2022 by Dai Quang Minh Construction Company. The project had a total investment of VND 3,082 billion and was implemented under the BT (build-transfer) model.
