SKĐS - In recent days, images of the national flag appearing on rooftops in many localities have evoked strong emotions.
The house featuring the image of the national flag belongs to the family of Mr. Le Quang Vu in Chua village, Duy Phien commune, Tam Duong district, Vinh Phuc province.
"Currently, my son is working in the IT field in Hanoi . At the end of July, he and his friends came back to realize an idea they had been nurturing for a long time. After finishing the national flag, he showed it to his father in pictures, and I was very surprised and moved," shared Mrs. Bui Thi Phuong (mother of Le Quang Vu).
According to our investigation, to create the five-pointed golden star in the correct proportions, the young man in his 20s meticulously measured and adjusted everything on a computer. When he started construction, he used additional equipment such as a drone to ensure that the edges of the golden star were perfectly aligned and aesthetically pleasing.
Speaking to a reporter from the Health & Life Newspaper, Mr. Le Van Thuong (father of Le Quang Vu) said: "After my son showed me the completed red flag with a yellow star on the roof, my family and I felt very proud and moved. I didn't think my son's actions would receive so much support," Mr. Thuong said.
After completing the national flag on his rooftop, Le Quang Vu shared it on social media, attracting millions of views.
About 50 meters from Vu's house, a neighbor also asked Vu for advice and made a national flag with his own hands.
As of now, viewed from above, two national flags can be seen in Chua village, Duy Phien commune, Tam Duong district, Vinh Phuc province.
The "every house is a national flag" movement aims to express patriotism, national pride, and to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day on September 2nd.
