On January 15th, the Binh Chanh District Police (Ho Chi Minh City) are investigating the fire at the Mizuki Park Nam Long apartment building.
Some people with smoke inhalation were taken to the emergency room.
At over 7 PM, a fire broke out on the 3rd floor, block MP3 of the Mizuki Park Nam Long apartment complex on Nguyen Van Linh Street, Binh Hung Commune. At this time, the fire alarm sounded, causing hundreds of residents to flee to the ground floor via the stairwells. Smoke then spread to many apartments.
Binh Chanh District Police Fire Department along with fire trucks, ladder trucks, and ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
Police and firefighters at the apartment building put out the fire and prevented it from spreading.
Initial investigation determined that some people suffered from smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
