At the congress, on behalf of the Environment and Life Magazine Branch, Mr. Nguyen Hung Thang – General Secretary of the Editorial Board, Head of the Reader Relations Department in charge of inspection work of the Branch – presented the report, reviewing the achievements of the past term. During this period, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Environment and Life Magazine still strived to achieve many remarkable results in professional work, always demonstrating and fulfilling the tasks and mission of the team of journalists.

The association's members and staff continuously innovate the content and methods of their activities; consolidate and improve the organizational structure; and encourage journalists to fulfill their responsibilities well. At the same time, they always focus on nurturing and developing a workforce with unwavering political integrity, strong professional skills, and sharp, flexible thinking and analysis of issues to effectively carry out and complete assigned tasks.
Throughout its operation, the Magazine has consistently fulfilled its role as the official mouthpiece of the Vietnam Water and Environment Association, actively expanding its relationships and participating in political, social, and professional organizations to leverage strengths and secure cooperation, joint ventures, and partnerships with specialized associations and societies in the fields of environment and water worldwide and in the region.
The branch association has collaborated with the magazine to organize numerous specialized forums and seminars on environment, water, and climate change, which have been highly appreciated by experts, managers, and scientists. In addition, the branch association has partnered with the magazine to carry out many social and charitable activities, providing gifts to families of war invalids and sick soldiers, single-parent families in difficult circumstances, and poor but academically gifted students.

Acknowledging the efforts of the Journalists' Branch of the Environment and Life Magazine during the past term, Ms. Vu Thi Ha, Member of the Executive Committee and Head of the Working Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, expressed her hope that in the new term, the Branch would continue to closely adhere to key tasks, firstly, to leverage the leadership and attention of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Vietnam Water and Environment Association, and to effectively implement Directive No. 43-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the new situation.
Secondly, implementing the Politburo's conclusions on the implementation of the Directive "On promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style"; carrying out emulation movements, with specific professional activities, closely adhering to the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association for the 2020-2025 term with 15 key tasks, concretizing these 15 key tasks into the Branch's activity program in the coming period and potentially integrating them into its professional work to enhance the richness and quality of the Branch's activities, and continuing to effectively launch emulation campaigns to build a cultural environment in press agencies.
Ms. Vu Thi Ha expressed her hope that in the future, the Branch Association will continue to focus on strengthening and improving the organization and developing its membership, contributing to the further development of the Branch Association.
