Details of the set of reference questions for the high school graduation exam just announced by the Ministry of Education and Training

2025 is the first year that the High School Graduation Exam is organized according to the 2018 General Education Program. In order to best prepare the necessary conditions for organizing the Exam, and at the same time help schools, teachers and students to be proactive in review, teaching and learning activities, right from the beginning of the school year, the Ministry of Education and Training has directed units to develop plans, prepare early, remotely for the work and tasks of preparing and organizing the Exam, including developing reference questions for the High School Graduation Exam from 2025.

The Ministry of Education and Training also identified this as a very important task to prepare well for the high school graduation exam from 2025 according to the 2018 general education program. To help schools, teachers, and students feel secure in preparing for the exam, the Ministry of Education and Training has promptly established a Steering Committee for the development of sample exam questions and implemented the steps to develop sample exam questions in a scientific , rigorous, and responsible manner.

The Ministry stated that, to ensure objectivity, comprehensiveness, and alignment with the curriculum and teaching and learning process, it invited experts, scientists, lecturers, teachers, and chief editors who participated in developing the 2018 General Education Program and the Continuing Education Program to contribute to the exam question development. This included authors of textbooks based on the 2018 General Education Program, as well as those who participated in training courses on building question banks and creating exam questions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

The reference exam ensures compliance with regulations on the structure and format of the High School Graduation Exam from 2025 announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, and closely follows the 2018 General Education Program and mainly grade 12.

Compared to previous years, this year the reference exam was announced nearly 5 months earlier; thereby, helping schools, teachers and students to be proactive in the teaching, learning and review process. Preparing for the exam to achieve the many objectives set out in the plan announced by the Ministry of Education and Training.
