Paying more than 2 billion VND in BIC Binh An insurance benefits to customers

On December 23, BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) held a ceremony to pay BIC Binh An insurance benefits to relatives of a customer in PQK, Ha Hoa town, Ha Hoa district who unfortunately died in a traffic accident.

Representatives of BIC, State Bank of Vietnam Phu Tho Branch, BIDV Hung Vuong Branch, BIDV Phu Tho presented insurance money to customers' relatives.

Mr. PQK is a long-term loan customer at BIDV Hung Vuong Bank. In June 2024, Mr. K. continued to borrow capital at BIDV Hung Vuong Branch with an amount of 2 billion VND, and at the same time participated in the BIC Binh An insurance product for the entire loan.

On October 12, 2024, Mr. PQK unfortunately died in a traffic accident. Immediately after receiving information from the customer's family, BIDV Phu Tho Insurance Company visited and encouraged the family, and actively coordinated with relevant parties to quickly complete the documents and pay all insurance benefits with the amount of VND 2,006,589,041 to Mr. K's family, including: Insurance participation amount, loan interest support during the waiting period for insurance procedures, and funeral allowance.
