'Ivory comb' in the 10th grade Literature exam of the Specialized Pedagogical High School in 2023

In the morning, candidates take two conditional tests in Literature and Math. The test time is 90 minutes.

Chau Anh (Giang Vo Secondary School) said that this year's Literature exam for entering grade 10 of the Pedagogical Specialized High School was about the work "Ivory Comb" by writer Nguyen Quang Sang with the requirement to analyze the character of little Thu.

With about 13 minutes left until the end of the exam, Trinh Nhat Minh (Archimedes Secondary School) confidently walked out of his room in building C. Minh shared that he was able to do all the Math and Literature sections at a "fair level". He assessed that this year's exam was not too difficult.

Student Trinh Nhat Minh was the first candidate to leave the exam room in building C.

Student Hai Anh (Giang Vo Secondary School) commented: "The Literature test today is normal, the Math test is quite difficult."

This afternoon, candidates will take the specialized exam, including: Math, Literature, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Information Technology. Candidates will take the exam within 120 minutes, starting at 2:30 p.m.

This year, Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted received 6,113 candidates registering for the exam (an increase of 636 candidates compared to last year). The average competition ratio for grades 1/19.4.

The exam regulations of this school stipulate that candidates only bring necessary items to the exam room: Pen, ruler, compass, calculator, water bottle. Do not bring valuable items to avoid loss or damage. All items must be put in a clear plastic bag without any writing to be brought into the exam room.
