TECHFEST 2025: People get to directly experience new technology solutions

With the theme "Creative startups for all people - New growth drivers", the Vietnam Innovation and Startup Festival 2025 (TECHFEST Vietnam 2025) organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, will take place at Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street, Hanoi from December 12-14, 2025.

At the press conference on the afternoon of December 3, the Organizing Committee said that TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 will change the organization method from the "hall event" model to "open space event". Accordingly, TECHFEST 2025 takes place in the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street area ( Hanoi ) to create conditions for people to directly access new technologies, innovative business models and startup support services.

TECHFEST Vietnam 2025 also focuses on professional activities such as policy announcements, investment deal connections, market solutions and spreading the message about the “One Person Business” model. At the same time, TECHFEST 2025 also increases the presence of experts, speakers, investment funds and global organizations in a series of specialized seminars, aiming for an open, modern and integrated TECHFEST.

The event is expected to attract more than 60,000 direct and online participants, from corporations, start-ups, investment funds, support organizations, technology incubators, research institutes, universities, along with representatives of typical businesses, corporations, scientists, women, youth, seniors starting a business and delegates from the domestic and 6 international innovative start-up ecosystems, including: Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Central Asia, Middle East, North America, Europe.

In addition, the Exhibition of innovative startup products and services with 4 areas, brings together all typical representatives of the Vietnamese innovative startup ecosystem, including:

- Zone I: Startup & Scale-up Zone, including startups, initial enterprises, institutes, startups that have revenue and are growing, expanding the market; Enterprises developing on deep technology platforms or enterprises creating social impact. This is an incubator for project supply for the national, local and private investment fund system, demonstrating the ability to apply deep technology to life: healthcare, education, environment, smart agriculture, smart manufacturing, AI, data, etc.

- Zone II: Building an ecosystem (Startup Ecosystem Builder Zone), simulating the Vietnamese innovative startup ecosystem with entities forming a startup culture and nurturing the ecosystem, creating an environment for businesses to develop, including: Support organizations, accelerators, institutes, schools, research centers, investment funds, international cooperation units, media units, STEM centers.

- Zone III: Experience breakthrough and strategic technology (Strategic & Frontier Technology Testbed Zone), a startup community space where people directly experience breakthrough technologies through interaction and technology testing. This is a new and attractive space of TECHFEST Vietnam 2025, making technology a part of life, helping the community understand how creative startups serve the needs of life.

- Zone IV: Pre-unicorn, Unicorn, Corporation Zone, includes technology products of enterprises originating from corporations, or incubated by international investment funds, corporate investment funds. This zone welcomes pioneering technology enterprises, breakthrough spinoff enterprises from Zone I. It is a group of pioneering technology enterprises, capable of solving national and international problems and promoting the formation of a new generation of unicorns in Vietnam.

Along with that, a series of international seminars and professional talks, discussing trends and policies, human resources, finance and investment, technology commercialization and knowledge transfer in the fields of artificial intelligence, agriculture, data, green economy and sportech... gathered more than 100 prestigious experts from management agencies, international corporations, investment funds, research institutes, universities, domestic startups and nearly 10 countries such as the United States, Korea, the Netherlands,...
