The CSM listened to a presentation about the outstanding achievements of the Vietnam People's Navy.
At the Region 3 Traditional House, officers and soldiers were introduced to the traditions and outstanding achievements of the Vietnam People's Navy; the traditions of Region 3; and Vietnam's sovereignty over its seas and islands through images and documents displayed about Vietnam's Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
CSM visits ships belonging to the 172nd Brigade.
During their visit to the ships of the 172nd Brigade and the 161st Brigade, the officers were briefed on the history and traditions of the ships, their technical and tactical capabilities, and some of the weapons and equipment on board.
The tour aimed to instill patriotism and national pride in the new recruits, while also enhancing their awareness and understanding of the weapons and equipment on board naval vessels and the strength and combat readiness of the 3rd Naval Region in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands.
