Known as the number one waterfall in the Central Highlands, Phi Lieng waterfall has a wild, majestic and powerful beauty like the soul of the people of this great land.

Also known as Seven-layer waterfall, Phi Lieng waterfall is not like other waterfalls planned as tourist attractions for visitors to easily enjoy, but is considered a "treasure" of nature, a "gift" for those brave and strong enough to overcome dozens of kilometers of forest roads.

The road to Phi Lieng waterfall is very easy to get lost. Due to its location deep in the old forest, this route has a very high humidity, affected by fog and rain. Tractors are the only means of transportation into the forest for the K'Ho people living here, so the trail into the forest is full of deep, bumpy tire tracks. Visitors have to cross many muddy roads, then conquer consecutive steep slopes. The slope here has a fairly large incline, is slippery, requiring visitors to be very careful.

Passing the slopes, visitors will begin to hear the sound of falling water. The majestic waterfall lies vertically, the water rolling down creates a sound that echoes among the immense mountains and forests.
This sacred and majestic waterfall is surrounded by stone walls, layer upon layer. Surrounded by deep forests..., all create a wild, strong but also very emotional beauty, like a unique quality of the dry, windy Central Highlands.

Coming to Phi Lieng waterfall, in addition to sightseeing, camping or swimming, visitors also have the opportunity to challenge themselves with abseiling activities from the cliff at the top of the waterfall. Abseiling is understood as a sport similar to mountain climbing. However, if mountain climbing is going up, abseiling is going down by swinging on a rope. This means that when participating in abseiling, visitors will climb the mountain in the form of going down with a rope as a safe support.
To be able to perform this adventure sport, visitors will have to undergo training sessions on skills, common situations, solutions and practice thoroughly before rappelling. Equipment from belts, helmets, life jackets, gloves... are fully provided and always checked before distribution and before playing for all participants.

Not the only place to experience abseiling, however, abseiling in Phi Lieng makes many visitors feel more nervous and anxious due to the verticality and height of the cliff. With a length of 115m, this is the longest abseiling route in Vietnam with an average climbing time of 20-35 minutes per person.

Ms. Hong Nhung ( Ho Chi Minh City) shared her experience: “When I got to the edge of the waterfall to prepare to drop myself down, I was shaking, scared and overwhelmed by the height. I asked the technicians who were adjusting the rope and checking my safety if everyone who experienced this was as scared as I was. They replied: “No one is not scared when they go to this edge of the rock, but after a few steps it will be gone.” Being encouraged, I felt more secure. Indeed, when I went down a few steps, my mood changed completely. I was still nervous but mixed with excitement and eagerness. Occasionally, I stopped in the middle of the steep cliff to rest and watch the waterfall, listen to the sound of flowing water, and felt oh how beautiful nature is."

As for Mr. Tran Giang Le Vu (Ho Chi Minh City), the experience at Phi Lieng made him "addicted" from the first moment. "We traveled from the homestay to the waterfall by tractor about 10 km and then walked down to the top of the waterfall, where we would start to swing down. The feeling at that moment was quite thrilling. One by one, we went down the waterfall, everyone went smoothly. I thought to myself, why is everyone so good, everyone is first time but playing is as easy as eating candy.
It was my turn, the second to last. It was about to rain, and I was afraid it would rain while I was going down. However, as long as I could overcome the initial nervousness with the decisive moment: taking the first step back and falling down the waterfall, then I could enjoy the excitement of the vertical steps on the cliff.

Actually, playing this game is not difficult and very safe because the rope is anchored above and held firmly, even if I let go of both hands and do not hold the rope, I will not fall. It is just overcoming the fear of heights. I went down a bit fast, normally people go for 15 minutes, those who go at the slowest time take 30 minutes, but I only went for 7 minutes because when I got used to the feeling, I let the rope run freely to increase the speed of the descent to see how it would be. When I landed on the SUP, I felt sorry because it was too fast, I wanted to play more", Mr. Vu shared.
