Saskatchewan province (Canada) is famous for its spirit of collective work in agriculture and food technology. These values have just been introduced in Vietnam to promote cooperation in sustainable agricultural development.

Saskatchewan is known as a large agricultural granary, owning more than 40% of Canada's agricultural land, playing a key role in the global high-quality food supply chain.
Saskatchewan is one of Canada’s largest provinces, twice the size of Japan but with only about 1.2 million people, owning more than 40% of Canada’s agricultural land. The province is known for its environmentally friendly farming methods such as no-till farming techniques, nitrogen-fixing crop rotations such as Canadian chickpeas and lentils, which are core elements of the “regenerative agriculture” model.

Agricultural products such as lentils and green beans were introduced at the event, representing the "regenerative agriculture" and environmentally friendly farming process of the province of Saskatchewan.
The Canadian representative said that Vietnam is a rapidly growing market in terms of demand for safe, high-quality agricultural products. This is the reason why Saskatchewan is expanding its operations in Vietnam to provide a reliable and nutritious source of agricultural products.

Culinary promotion activities (workshops) help Vietnamese chefs and businesses directly experience and evaluate the quality of clean ingredients imported from Canada to apply to daily menus.
Saskatchewan currently exports about US$60-100 million worth of agricultural products to Vietnam each year and aims to increase cooperation not only in trade and investment but also in sustainable agricultural development using artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies.
This workshop is also an opportunity for young chefs and related units to learn about ingredients from Saskatchewan, and at the same time exchange experiences in sustainable agricultural development between the two countries.
