The auction of car license plate 36A-999.99 closed for more than 7.4 billion VND

On the afternoon of September 15th, the Vietnam Joint-Stock Auction Company continued to auction off 9 "super beautiful" car license plates. At the start of the auction at 1:30 PM, the license plate 36A-999.99 was immediately bid at 2.47 billion VND.

Subsequently, the race for this "five consecutive 9s" license plate became incredibly exciting, with someone bidding 3.5 billion VND within just 15 minutes.

The price of the license plate continuously surpassed the 5 billion, 6 billion mark and closed at 7.465 billion VND, for the customer with code VPA-VBEWSI. This person also continuously paid higher prices for the license plate from the initial 6.69 billion VND mark.

Earlier that morning, during the auction, bids were made for 14.12 billion VND for license plate 30K-555.55 and 2.69 billion VND for license plate 19A-555.55.

According to an announcement from the Vietnam Joint-Stock Auction Company, nine auctions will take place in the afternoon of the same day, including: from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM with license plates 15K-188.88 (Hai Phong City), 99A-666.66 (Bac Ninh), 36A-999.99 (Thanh Hoa); from 2:45 PM to 2:45 PM with license plates 43A-799.99 (Da Nang), 47A-599.99 (Dak Lak), 51K-888.88 (Ho Chi Minh City); and from 4 PM to 5 PM with license plates 98A-666.66 ( Bac Giang ), 65A-399.99 (Can Tho), 30K-567.89 (Hanoi City).

License plate 30K-555.55 was sold for up to 14.12 billion VND.

According to the announcement from the Vietnam Joint-Stock Auction Company, customers who have temporarily withdrawn their application fees and deposits for the aforementioned license plates and wish to participate in the auction again must resubmit their application fees and deposits.

Total amount: 40.1 million VND per license plate. This includes a deposit of 40 million VND and an auction participation fee of 100,000 VND. The deadline for submission is 4:30 PM on September 14th.
