Capitaland Tower Co., Ltd. has just announced its business results for the first half of 2025. The company reported a net loss of nearly VND 2,733 billion in the first half of the year - a 71.5-fold increase compared to the same period last year.
Previously, in the first six months of 2024, Capitaland Tower reported a net loss of over 38 billion VND. In 2023 and 2022, the company incurred net losses of 2,683 billion VND and 756 billion VND respectively.
The company has negative equity. As of June 30th, Capitaland Tower's equity was negative by more than VND 7,046 billion.
Nevertheless, the company recorded total liabilities of VND 14,514 billion, a sharp decrease compared to VND 22,066 billion in the same period last year.

CapitaLand Tower is known as the developer of the Saigon Marina IFC project in the prime location of Ba Son (Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The building is touted as having 55 above-ground floors, 5 basement floors, and a total floor area of over 106,000 m2 on a plot of land exceeding 6,000 m2, making it one of the tallest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to information from the National Business Registration Portal, Capitaland Tower has just increased its capital tenfold to over 22,000 billion VND.
The new shareholder structure includes a new individual, Ms. Le Thi Huyen Linh, who owns 91% of the capital. The ownership stakes of existing shareholders have decreased, with Mr. Luong Phan Son holding 8.5%. Ms. Linh was also a member of the Board of Directors, while Mr. Son was a co-legal representative of the company.
Along with the change in shareholder structure, Capitaland Tower also has a new General Director, Mr. Nguyen Diep Anh, who is also the legal representative of the company.
