Due to the impact of weather conditions, the flow to the reservoirs has increased, so the reservoirs have discharged water through spillways to ensure safety for the works, complying with the inter-reservoir operation process and the reservoir operation process.
Before storm No. 13, the unit proactively deployed preparedness and regulation measures to reduce the lake water level.
Specifically, for Buôn Tua Srah Lake, as of this morning (November 5), the water level is 487.023 m, compared to the normal water level of 487.5 m (about 0.5 m left), the water flow to the lake is 127m 3 /s, the total discharge flow is 263m 3 /s (higher than the total flow to the lake). Buôn Kuốp Lake water level is 411.48 m, Srêpok 3 Lake is 271.8 m.

The company also builds typical flood regulation scenarios to respond to possible flood situations on reservoirs, ensuring safe operation of the project, regulating floods in a reasonable and effective manner to minimize damage to the downstream area when natural disasters occur, and avoiding passive situations in reservoir regulation.
At the same time, conduct inspections of flood escape corridors in the downstream areas of reservoirs, focusing on some key locations in the downstream areas of factories; carry out hydrological monitoring, regularly update hydrometeorological forecasts to propose appropriate response solutions; strengthen monitoring of downstream flooding at water level measuring stations, flooded hamlets/villages according to the reservoir discharge level on the flood map, evacuation sites, rescue routes, evacuation routes and forecast of flooding in the next 24 hours.
