On the morning of November 18, President Luong Cuong attended the National Great Unity Day in Bao An Village, Go Noi Commune, Da Nang City on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025), which is also the National Great Unity Day in 2025.
Also attending were comrades: Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Party Central Committee members: Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, Da Nang city and a large number of people from Bao An village.
Reporting at the festival, Head of Bao An Village People's Committee Tran Cong Hoa said that the village has 625 households with 2,600 people and 14 solidarity groups.
As a purely agricultural village, mainly developing agriculture , in recent years, with the leadership of the Commune Party Committee, direct direction from the Party Committee, coordination of the Village People's Committee and mass organizations, and consensus of the people, the local movement, especially the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", has achieved many results, contributing to the commune's successful completion of assigned tasks.
Everyone and every family actively practices a civilized cultural lifestyle, and strictly follows the conventions and village rules in weddings and funerals.
Patriotic emulation movements are launched every year; every family competes to build a cultural family, every clan competes to build a cultural clan, solidarity groups compete to be excellent groups, and the quality of cultural families increases day by day.
By 2025, 595/625 families will be recognized as cultural families; Bao An village has achieved the title of cultural village for 11 consecutive years; average income per capita is estimated at 72 million VND/person/year.
At the festival, representatives of households participated in contributing opinions and recommendations on the implementation of legal policies, emulation movements, building cultural families, developing the economy, gathering and uniting people in the village...
Speaking at the festival, President Luong Cuong shared that recently, Go Noi commune, Da Nang city and many localities across the country have faced natural disasters, unusual storms and floods, many households have been severely affected in terms of people, property, crops, disrupting life, daily activities, study and livelihood.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the President expressed his deep condolences for the losses and damages that the people of Da Nang city and other regions and localities across the country have had to endure; and expressed his deep gratitude to the frontline forces, the army, the police, village and commune cadres, all levels, sectors and people nationwide who have shared their food and clothes, regardless of danger, to protect the lives and property of the people.
The President affirmed that solidarity is a cultural and historical tradition, forged over thousands of years, and has always been the source of strength in the history of building and defending the country of our people, especially in the Ho Chi Minh era.
That sacred value and precious tradition have created a very unique cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people. Promoting the tradition of solidarity of our ancestors, "One tree alone cannot make a forest, three trees together can make a high mountain", beloved Uncle Ho affirmed and advised: "Unity, unity, great unity. Success, success, great success."
The President pointed out that, thanks to the strength of the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance and self-improvement, our entire people and army, under the leadership of the Party, have overcome countless difficulties and challenges, defeated all invaders, unified the country - brought the country back together and achieved great achievements of historical significance in 40 years of renovation, so that our country can have the foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it is today.
President Luong Cuong emphasized that throughout history, the spirit of solidarity has helped the Vietnamese people overcome all difficulties and challenges, achieving one victory after another, with important contributions from the army and people of Da Nang city as well as the people of 17 villages of Go Noi commune.
In the new development stage, the whole country enters the era of development, building a rich, prosperous, happy and eternal country, the strength of great national unity becomes more important than ever.
In order to promote the tradition and good results achieved in the past time, the President requested the leaders of Da Nang city, the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front, and the organizations of Go Noi commune to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly promote the role of the people as masters; promote democracy at the grassroots level, strengthen dialogue, listen to people's opinions, truly take the people as the center, the subject, the goal and driving force of development; build a truly streamlined, compact, effective, efficient, close-to-the-people grassroots government.
The commune needs to constantly pay attention to and care for, improve all aspects of people's material and spiritual life; promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense, security and social order and safety.
The commune also needs to further improve people's living standards and incomes; carry out social security work well, especially for policy families, meritorious people, and disadvantaged people, so that no one is left behind; proactively have solutions to adapt and build a safe community in the context of climate change and complex and unusual weather and natural disasters.
President Luong Cuong emphasized that the Party and State have been doing everything to promptly support people in flood-affected areas to stabilize their lives; at the same time, he directed the Government, all levels and sectors to develop a comprehensive strategy to respond to natural disasters, storms and floods, prioritize budget to upgrade dykes, prevent flooding in urban areas, landslides in mountainous areas, encourage the construction of floating houses, houses on concrete floors in low-lying areas, flooded areas and high tides...
With the tradition of resilience, humanity, and solidarity that has been nurtured, preserved, and passed down through many generations of the people of Bao An and 16 villages of Go Noi commune, along with the determination of the Party Committee, the government, and the Fatherland Front at all levels, the President believes that the villages of Go Noi commune will continue to develop strongly, becoming bright spots in building model new rural areas, civilized, safe, and happy villages.
In the atmosphere of the National Great Unity Day 2025 and the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day, the President shared his emotions, recalling the image 65 years ago (September 1960), in the program welcoming the success of the 3rd National Party Congress at the Botanical Garden, Uncle Ho was invited to the podium, conduct the orchestra and lead the masses to sing the song "Solidarity."
And during his work, the President and his teammates, whenever carrying out tasks, especially difficult tasks that may require sacrifice, always hold hands and sing the song "Solidarity."
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong sent to all compatriots and comrades nationwide wishes for health, peace, prosperity and happiness; wishing the solidarity of Bao An village and 16 villages of Go Noi commune to become increasingly strong and warm, joining hands and hearts to successfully build the commune into a new, modern rural commune by 2030 as determined by the Resolution of the 1st Commune Party Congress.
President Luong Cuong presented 20 billion VND to the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city, contributing to helping the city promptly overcome damages caused by natural disasters; presented gifts to the Party Committee, government and people of Go Noi commune and 17 villages of the commune, presented gifts to the Bao An village festival, and 10 typical policy families.

Bao An was once known as the “Scholarship Village” of the South Central region. Go Noi Commune is located in the southwest of Da Nang city, the land along the Thu Bon River, the cradle of Quang culture with a unique, revolutionary and heroic cultural tradition.
After the merger (from 3 communes Dien Phong, Dien Trung and Dien Quang), Go Noi commune now has 17 affiliated villages.
In the past time, despite many difficulties, Bao An village and 16 villages in the commune still maintained a stable development pace, many aspects are very encouraging, contributing positively to the overall achievements of Go Noi commune.
