According to information from the Ministry of Health , during the 6-day Tet holiday of At Ty 2025, the epidemic situation across the country was quite stable. The Ministry of Health said that there were no outbreaks or clusters of dangerous infectious diseases spreading in the community.

And notably, there were no new cases of whooping cough and diphtheria. However, some cases of diseases such as dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease, and rash fever suspected to be measles were recorded.

Regarding medical examination and treatment, during the 6-day Tet holiday, medical facilities nationwide received a total of 414,006 medical examinations and emergencies.

In the past 24 hours alone (from 7:00 a.m. on January 29 to 7:00 a.m. on January 30), 39,338 people came to medical facilities for examination and emergency treatment. On January 30, the number of inpatients was 22,237, bringing the total number of hospitalizations in 6 days to 128,066. Doctors performed 14,206 surgeries, including 2,410 emergency surgeries.

Accidents caused by firecrackers and homemade weapons: During Tet, there were 418 cases of medical examination and emergency treatment due to accidents related to firecrackers and fireworks. In addition, there were 36 cases of accidents caused by homemade weapons and explosives, but no deaths were recorded.

Food poisoning and digestive disorders: During the 6-day Tet holiday, 483 people came to the emergency room for food poisoning, digestive disorders, or alcohol/beer intoxication. Of these, 294 people had to be hospitalized for monitoring and treatment, but there were no deaths.

As of 12:00 on January 30, the national food safety system (including provinces, cities and 5 regional institutes) did not record any food poisoning cases.

The Ministry of Health said that medical facilities have prepared enough medicine to serve the work of medical examination and treatment and disease prevention. As of 12:00 on January 30, the Ministry of Health has not received any feedback on the situation of drug shortage, drug price increase, or drug quality in medical examination and treatment.
