Carefully prepare for the organization of the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Quang Nam Province

Reporting at the meeting, the representative of the Provincial Ethnic Committee said that so far, out of 13 districts and cities that organized congresses and conferences, 3 units have completed the congresses, including Bac Tra My, Nam Giang and Hoi An City. According to the plan, the remaining localities will complete the organization of congresses and conferences before June 30, 2024.

The 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Quang Nam Province in 2024 is expected to take place on September 18 and 19, 2024, in Tam Ky City, with about 330 delegates attending.

With the theme "Ethnic solidarity, promoting internal strength, innovation, integration, striving for sustainable development", in recent times, the Congress Steering Committee has focused on implementing preparation work, from the expected number of delegates, draft outline of the political report, composition of the Presidium, Secretariat to run the congress sessions...

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan suggested that, in addition to accepting the delegates' comments, it is necessary to review all remaining work groups according to the general direction; at the same time, monitor and urge relevant individuals and units to closely organize implementation, ensuring the content as required.
