Following the launch ceremony of Youth Month 2024 with the theme " Ninh Binh Youth: Pioneering and Volunteering for Community Life," on the morning of February 26th, various levels of the Youth Union coordinated and carried out many practical activities, generating billions of dong in benefits.
* In Nam Binh ward (Ninh Binh city), the Provincial Youth Union held an inauguration ceremony for the "Youth Tree Planting" project.
Accordingly, with support from the Provincial Youth Union, youth union members in Ninh Binh city planted 100 new Golden Shower trees along a 600-meter stretch of road at Alley 7, Nam Binh Street, Nam Binh Ward. The total cost of the project was 105 million VND.
At the ceremony, Comrade Do Viet Anh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, along with leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and Ninh Binh City, cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project and handed it over to the officials and people of Nam Binh Ward.
* The Ninh Binh City Youth Union inaugurated the project "Youth ensuring environmental hygiene and urban aesthetics" in the eastern area of Dinh Tien Hoang Emperor Square (Ninh Khanh ward, Ninh Binh city).
With the motto "Let's plant trees to make the city greener," the Ninh Binh City Youth Union mobilized hundreds of man-days from its members and young people to clean up and beautify an area of over 10 hectares; at the same time, it mobilized social resources totaling over 1 billion VND to carry out the project.
In the coming period, the Ninh Binh City Youth Union will plant and care for 500 silver palm trees, 100 pink swallowtail trees, 500 laurel trees, 1,000 Podocarpus trees, and 2,000 camphor tree saplings; and build a flower garden with approximately 10,000 sunflowers, sunflowers, and many other green trees to make this area a highlight of Ninh Binh city.
* At the Non Nuoc Mountain historical and scenic site and the Truong Han Sieu cultural figure's temple, the Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ), inaugurated a free public Wi-Fi hotspot.
The project, valued at 60 million VND, aims to support the digital transformation of the community and the development of tourism in the province.
* At Le Hong Phong Primary School (Ninh Binh City), the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Children's Council, the Provincial Youth and Children's Center, and the Ninh Binh City Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper, organized the launching ceremony of the Reading Culture movement for children and teenagers in the 2023-2024 school year.

At the event, leaders from the Provincial Youth Union, the Youth Pioneer Newspaper, and the Children's Newspaper presented the school with 300 books and newspapers, and 10 gifts for disadvantaged students at Le Hong Phong Primary School.
The aim is to cultivate a reading habit and enhance reading culture among children and teenagers; to guide them towards positive values, to foster love for their homeland and country, and to instill confidence in life through enriching and beneficial books and newspapers.
* In Ninh Nhat commune, the Ninh Binh City Youth Union organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a "Red Scarf House" for Nguyen Thi Quynh Chi, a 6th grade student at Ninh Nhat Secondary School.
Quynh Chi's family is facing difficult circumstances. Her father and she are affected by Agent Orange, her mother does not have a stable job, and the family's finances are tight. For many years, the family has lived in an old, severely dilapidated house but has not had the means to repair or rebuild it.
Sharing in the difficulties faced by the family, the Ninh Binh City Youth Union proposed to the Provincial Youth Union to conduct a survey and review applications for financial support under the Red Scarf House program.
Specifically, the City Youth Union and the City Children's Council contributed 50 million VND from donations and support from various levels of the Youth Union and 26 primary and secondary school teams in the city; the teachers and students of Ninh Nhat Primary School contributed 3.3 million VND; and with the support of the Party Committee, the People's Committee of Ninh Nhat commune, and the Youth Union of the commune, labor was contributed to dismantle and rebuild the house.
* At the Dong Thanh Ward Health Station (Ninh Binh City), the Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Vietnam Young Doctors Association, organized free health check-ups, consultations, and medication distribution for 150 individuals from impoverished households and families entitled to preferential policies in Ninh Binh City, with a total value of 30 million VND.
* At Dinh Tien Hoang Emperor Square (Ninh Khanh ward, Ninh Binh city), following the launching ceremony of the 2024 Youth Month, the Provincial Youth Union organized a training session on digital transformation and guided over 3,000 youth union members and young people on installing the MyNinhBinh application.
The MyNinhBinh application was developed with the goal of becoming a comprehensive, official, and single communication channel for information exchange between the government and citizens and businesses; aiming to build a modern and efficient service-oriented administration; and to enhance transparency, accountability, and better serve citizens and businesses.
In addition, the application also serves as an access point connecting to other applications, providing essential information to serve people in their daily lives; it is a tool to support and promote the digital transformation process of Ninh Binh province.
