The activity is part of the program series "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" and "Warm clothes to go to school" initiated and implemented by SGGP Newspaper from 2023 to present.

Attending the program were Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper Bui Thi Hong Suong and representatives of sponsoring units.
On the local side, there were comrades: Vo Ngoc Si, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province; Do Xuan Thang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan An commune, teachers of 5 schools located in the commune and more than 600 students, parents, and people in difficult circumstances who suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters...

At the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong affirmed: With the responsibility of a Party newspaper, in 50 years of formation and development, SGGP Newspaper has always strived to carry out its information and propaganda tasks, and at the same time implemented many programs for the community, especially targeting children, students in disadvantaged localities.
“Each scholarship, each warm coat, and each supporting project not only has material value but also “lights up faith”, giving students more motivation to overcome difficulties to go to school, nurturing their courage and knowledge to become useful people in the future”, Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong emphasized.


With the desire to encourage the spirit of learning, in 2023, SGGP Newspaper launched the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school". After more than two years, the program has mobilized more than 32 billion VND, supporting 33 schools in 19 provinces and cities. Continuing that humanitarian meaning, SGGP Newspaper launched the program "Warm clothes to school", to protect children's health and spread the spirit of sharing.
This time, the program came to Xuan An commune, which has just suffered "double" natural disaster damage from storm No. 13 and the recent historic flood.

SGGP Newspaper awarded 200 scholarships and 411 warm clothes to teachers and students of 5 schools in Xuan An commune, including: Cat Tuong Secondary School; Cat Nhon Secondary School; Cat Tuong Primary School No. 1; Cat Tuong Primary School No. 2; Cat Nhon Primary School. The total value of this donation is about 190,420,000 VND.
Through SGGP Newspaper, Nhu Lan Facility (HCMC) sent 250 gifts (including 2 jars of pork floss/gift). The small gifts wrapped up the sincere feelings of the people of HCMC sent to the people of Xuan An commune.


For many years, Nhu Lan Foundation and Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau (owner of the foundation) have always accompanied SGGP Newspaper in charity activities across the country. Recently, Ms. Dau continued to send 300 million VND and 3,500 boxes of shredded pork (worth 560 million VND) to accompany the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school", contributing to sharing with students and people in flood-affected areas...
On this occasion, the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper would like to thank the cooperation of individuals, businesses and units that have always put the community's interests first, contributing to spreading the charity program of SGGP Newspaper to people in more localities.

At the program, Ms. Phan Thi Tham, Manager of Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center (FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company) said that the unit was honored to accompany the program "Warm clothes to school" of SGGP Newspaper. This is a meaningful activity, timely sharing with students in difficult areas.

“When SGGP Newspaper initiated the program, Long Chau immediately responded, hoping to bring warm clothes to help children have more motivation to go to school and ensure their health,” Ms. Tham shared.
On behalf of the locality, Mr. Ho Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Xuan An Commune People's Committee, sent his gratitude to SGGP Newspaper and sponsors for bringing the charity program to students and local people.

Mr. Tuan said that Xuan An commune had just suffered heavy damage due to storm No. 13 and historic floods, and people's lives were facing many difficulties, so the support from the community was extremely valuable. The locality committed to using scholarships and gifts for the right purposes, transparently, and effectively promoting the humanistic values of the program.
The program "Map in hand - Fatherland in heart" of SGGP Newspaper comes to Gia Lai province
During this visit and gift giving, the SGGP Newspaper delegation presented the Map of Vietnam's provincial administrative units to the leaders of Gia Lai province and representatives of the provincial departments, branches and sectors.
