On February 17, in Hanoi, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan chaired a spring meeting with agricultural entrepreneurs and units operating channels introducing OCOP products on e-commerce platforms. The meeting's theme was "From an experiential economic mindset towards a higher value ladder in the Vietnamese agricultural product industry chain".

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan shared his views on agricultural economics and experiential economics at the meeting on February 17.

In the spirit of shifting from agricultural production thinking to agricultural economic thinking, Minister Le Minh Hoan said that the current trend of goods production and service business focuses on human factors, especially consumer emotions, towards the spiritual rather than the material. For example, in Thailand, consumers in this country are now coming up with the concepts of “happy eating”, “happy food”… Products are researched from packaging, images, graphics to customer targets.

The same products are medicine or food, drinks... for the elderly, but businesses target young people who want to buy them as gifts for grandparents and parents with the words printed on the outside of the packaging "Respectfully given to grandparents", "Respectfully given to parents". "Do not focus on taking money from customers, but on taking their hearts", Minister Le Minh Hoan shared.
