On the morning of December 4, in Da Nang City, the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) organized a seminar with the topic: "Solutions for green transformation and sustainable development to promote product consumption for rural industrial establishments".
The seminar is an activity within the series of national exhibition fair events under the National Industrial Promotion Program 2025.

Speaking at the opening of the seminar, Ms. Do Thi Minh Tram, Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion, informed that according to the General Statistics Office, the country's GDP by the end of the third quarter of 2025 is estimated to increase by about 7.85% over the same period last year.
Industrial production in October continued to maintain a positive growth trend. The index of industrial production (IIP) in October is estimated to increase by 2.4% over the previous month and by 10.8% over the same period last year. In the first 10 months of 2025, the IIP is estimated to increase by 9.2% over the same period last year (the same period in 2024 increased by 8.3%).
Industrial production index in the first 10 months of 2025 compared to the same period last year increased in all 34 localities.
The number of employees working in industrial enterprises as of October 1, 2025 increased by 0.8% over the same period last month and by 3.6% over the same period last year.
Investment and consumption indexes also recorded positive signals: total social investment capital increased, creating favorable conditions for businesses, including rural industrial establishments, to mobilize resources to invest in technological innovation and expand production.
These figures demonstrate that the domestic industry is maintaining a stable growth momentum, thereby creating opportunities for rural industrial establishments to innovate, expand, improve production capacity and participate more deeply in the supply chain.

According to Ms. Do Thi Minh Tram, Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion, green transformation creates sustainable competitive advantages for rural industrial establishments.
In the context of growth, rural industrial establishments simultaneously face pressure from domestic and export market requirements on quality, environmental standards, traceability and energy efficiency.
“ Therefore, green transformation is not only a solution to improve quality and production efficiency, but also a factor to create sustainable competitive advantages. If technology and processes are not innovated in the direction of green - clean - efficiency, establishments will easily fall behind” , Ms. Do Thi Minh Tram said and informed that, on the basis of that assessment, the role of the State, policies and support tools such as industrial promotion, support for technological innovation, trade promotion and green product development are important factors to help rural industrial establishments take advantage of opportunities.
“The Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion will accompany localities, enterprises and rural industrial establishments in supporting technological innovation, green transformation, production development and expanding product consumption ”, Deputy Director of the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion Do Thi Minh Tram affirmed and believed that with close cooperation between management agencies, enterprises, local authorities and the community, the green transformation process in rural industrial areas will achieve many positive results, contributing to sustainable development, improving productivity - quality and creating more real added value for products and people.
