Transferring more than 40 km of old provincial roads to districts and cities for management and exploitation

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 2496/UBND-XD on transferring 5 sections and routes of provincial roads to districts and cities for management, exploitation and maintenance, with a total length of 40.5 km.

Old Provincial Road 156B, section Km0, People's Committee of Hop Thanh Commune, Lao Cai City.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle to assign the People's Committees of districts and cities to receive, manage, exploit and maintain the following sections: Muong Khuong District People's Committee manages the old Provincial Road 154, 6.5 km long (from Km157+800/QL.4D to Km6+500/Provincial Road 154) in Ban Lau Commune, Muong Khuong District. Bat Xat District People's Committee manages the old Provincial Road 156, 3 km long (from Km12 to Km15) in Ban Vuoc Commune, Bat Xat District. Lao Cai City People's Committee manages the old provincial road 156B, 17.4 km long (from Km0, Hop Thanh Commune People's Committee to Km23+450, Duyen Hai Ward, Lao Cai City; old provincial road 161, 1.7 km long (from Km0 to Km1+700) in Van Hoa Commune. Bao Yen District People's Committee manages the old provincial road 161, 11.9 km long (from Km35 to Km40+800 and from Km41+700 to Km47+800) in Kim Son Commune, Bao Yen District (old sections have been replaced by new sections due to route adjustment).

Old Provincial Road 156 with a length of 3 km (from Km12 to Km15) is located in Ban Vuoc commune, Bat Xat district.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Transport to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of districts and cities to prepare documents, carry out procedures for transferring assets and organize the handover, receipt and management of road assets according to current regulations.
