On the last working day before the holiday, 14 trains departed from Hanoi station, carrying 6,730 passengers. Of these, 8 trains went to southern provinces, 4 to Hai Phong, and 2 to Lao Cai.

On special trains during the National Day holiday on September 2nd, railway staff, instead of their familiar uniforms, wore the colors of the national flag.
According to Hoang Gia Khanh, General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), ticket sales during this year's National Day holiday increased by approximately 10% compared to the same period last year.
To date, the railway industry has sold 130,000 tickets. Due to the high volume of passengers traveling during the peak holiday period, ensuring service quality, security, and safety for passengers is a top priority.

The railway industry has deployed a force of young volunteers to assist passengers with check-in procedures, navigation, and finding trains.
VNR also offers diverse ticket sales methods to make it convenient and quick for passengers to purchase tickets. In addition to the regularly scheduled trains on various routes, the railway has added dozens of extra trains. Trains departing at convenient times on peak days such as August 30-31 and September 2-3 are almost sold out, with only a few tickets remaining for 6-berth sleeper berths on the 3rd floor.

International guests were very excited about the special experience on the train during Independence Day and thrilled with the Vietnamese national flag.
August 30th was designated as the busiest day, with the railway operating 10 trains on the North-South route, including 5 Thong Nhat passenger trains from Hanoi to Saigon, 1 train from Hanoi to Da Nang, 2 trains from Hanoi to Dong Hoi, and 2 trains from Hanoi to Vinh.
Short train routes to Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, and even longer routes to Dong Hoi, Dong Ha, Hue, and Da Nang are all experiencing a "sold out" situation.

Mr. Hoang Gia Khanh, General Director of VNR, was also a passenger on the SE3 train departing from Hanoi station on the evening of August 30th to return home for the holiday.

Young passengers and their families were delighted by the lively atmosphere at Hanoi train station on the evening of August 30th.
A special feature of this year's September 2nd holiday is that the railway industry has instructed its staff on all trains to wear shirts with the red flag and yellow star, aiming to spread the beautiful image of the national flag and national pride.

Bright smiles filled the train station on the evening of August 30th, marking the beginning of a four-day holiday.
Besides buying tickets directly at the counter, passengers can purchase train tickets online quickly and conveniently.

During this year's National Day holiday, the number of train passengers increased by approximately 10% compared to the same period last year.
Passengers no longer need to go to the station as before; they can simply access the railway's ticket sales website or use electronic applications and smartphone apps such as online banking, e-wallets like MoMo, ZaloPay, VinID, etc., to book, buy, and pay for tickets online.
