Many large stocks such as JVC, SAB, MSN, MWG,FPT , GAS were also in red.
The non-essential consumer group was under strong selling pressure, especially in large-cap stocks: VPL hit the floor, MWG fell 0.83%, PNJ fell 0.56%, FRT fell 2.59%. On the other hand, only a few codes such as DGW, HUT, TNG remained green but the increase was insignificant.
On the other hand, the financial group continued to perform positively as green spread across most stocks. HDB increased by 2.86%, EIB increased by 1.1%, SSI increased by 122%, HCM increased by 1.09%...
The negative developments in the real estate sector and the decline in retail and consumer stocks have left the market lacking the momentum to recover. Analysts say the cautious stance may continue in the coming sessions as investors await further support signals from the macro economy and institutional cash flow.
