The first food and beverage plant in Vietnam to achieve LEED (V4: BD+C) Gold certification is a testament to Coca-Cola Vietnam’s commitment to the country’s innovation and sustainable development goals. Through advanced technologies, the plant improves production efficiency, along with sustainable design solutions including energy-saving lighting systems, optimized cooling systems and modern heat dissipation technology.

The plant is designed to use renewable energy, helping to reduce emissions. Specifically, a 6MW rooftop solar power system is deployed to provide clean and stable electricity, while a 10-ton biomass boiler system replaces traditional diesel, contributing to significantly reducing dependence on fossil fuels.

In order to effectively manage water resources, the factory has applied a system to recover and reuse up to 89% of the water used for production activities. The recovered water is treated to meet production quality standards, contributing to minimizing water use.

In addition, the plant has also implemented the “Wall-to-Wall” seamless supply model, a strategic cooperation initiative between Coca-Cola and Baosteel for the supply of can packaging. This initiative not only optimizes logistics operations but also saves energy used during transportation.

At the same time, the factory integrates smart technologies to optimize operational efficiency and ensure continuous improvement. These technologies include warehouse simulation (digital twin), real-time manufacturing information system (MIS) and AI safety monitoring (Intenseye).

Speaking at the event, Ms. Milly Cheng, General Director of Coca-Cola Beverages Vietnam Company Limited emphasized: "The inauguration ceremony of the new factory in Tay Ninh marks an important milestone in Coca-Cola's journey in Vietnam. The state-of-the-art production facility with the intersection of innovation and sustainable development - demonstrates our strong belief in the huge growth potential of the Vietnamese market and our commitment to long-term investment here. More than just an investment in facilities, this factory demonstrates our dedication to our vision of sustainable development and our aspiration to make meaningful contributions to the communities we call home across Vietnam."

Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, expects the factory to promote green industrial transformation, create quality jobs and develop a sustainable supporting industrial ecosystem in the locality.
