The CSI 2025 announcement ceremony honored 100 outstanding sustainable enterprises in both the manufacturing and trade - service sectors. Notably, the Top 10 sustainable enterprises in these two sectors recorded a rate of 60% domestic enterprises and 40% foreign-invested enterprises.

This shows that domestic enterprises have made great strides and the "game" of sustainable development is not only for FDI enterprises with good governance foundations.

In addition to the main categories, the Organizing Committee also honored outstanding businesses in two topics: circular economy - reducing greenhouse gas emissions and breakthrough corporate governance. These are contents that are being given special priority by the global business community.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Sy Hung, Chairman of VCCI, Head of the Steering Committee for CSI 2025 emphasized that in the new context, development and responsibility are no longer two separate concepts, but have become a unified whole in the business development strategy. After the first 10 years, CSI has not only stopped at the role of evaluation and honor, but is being oriented to develop into an ecosystem to support businesses in sustainable transformation on a national scale.

According to the Chairman of VCCI, in the coming time, the CSI Program will continue to be upgraded in both content and implementation methods, aiming to substantially support businesses in building a green transformation roadmap, applying ESG governance, accessing green financial resources, connecting with international partners and participating in new markets arising from green growth.

"VCCI needs to continue to accompany businesses in the adjustment and adaptation phase to increasingly high standards on environment, society and governance, thereby turning policy orientation into specific competitiveness of each business," said Mr. Ho Sy Hung.

The CSI 2025 Program attracted more than 500 enterprises nationwide, operating in many fields. Notably, more than 20% of enterprises participating this year are first-time registrants; about 30% are listed enterprises - the highest rate since the CSI Program was launched. Many corporations, general companies, state-owned enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises continue to actively participate, demonstrating an increasingly expanding level of interest in sustainable development.
