People's Public Security Union meets Vietnam Bank in the Northern final

The People's Public Security Trade Union will meet the Vietnam Banking Trade Union in the Northern region final of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.

On the morning of October 5, the two semi-final matches of the Northern region of the 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament took place at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Stadium.

In the first semi-final, Vietnam Banking Union showed superior strength against Bac Ninh Union 1 when they crushed them with a score of 6-1.

The Northern representative, despite choosing a "defensive" style of play from the start, still could not prevent the banking team's strikers from scoring 6 goals into their own net.

Anh Tuan (2 goals), Tuan Manh, Anh Son and Thuan An (2 goals) were the players who scored for the Vietnam Banking Union.

They only got one goal from Nguyen Van Nam.

Meanwhile, Hai Phong Trade Union fell to the People’s Police Trade Union. The two teams “tied” after 60 minutes of intense competition.

In the penalty shootout, the police representative showed more courage than their opponent to win the final score 7-6.

The Vietnam Banking Trade Union will face the People's Public Security Trade Union in the Northern regional final at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon (October 5) at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology stadium.

Hai Phong Trade Union and Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union teams both received third place.

The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Vietnam Football Federation. This is the third consecutive year the tournament has taken place.
