Aptech ignites passion for AI exploration in young generation

On August 23, Aptech International Programmer Training System organized a seminar entitled “Vietnam Rising in the AI Era”, attracting the attention of many young people. The event was not only an opportunity to discuss Vietnam’s potential in the context of strong technological development but also an opportunity for young people to seek direction in mastering technology.

According to Mr. Chu Tuan Anh, Director of Aptech International Programmer Training System, Vietnam's success in the new era will be built on patriotism, national pride and the combination with technology in its own way. However, he also pointed out that the current technology era is making many young people feel a lack of direction and motivation to study, especially when artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming more and more popular.

Mr. Tuan Anh affirmed that there should be no concern about AI replacing humans, because AI is just a tool to support humans in work and life. To master this technology, young people need to have clear goals and learning paths.

He also said that, in the immediate future, Vietnam should "stand on the shoulders of giants" to take advantage of the power of the world's leading AI models, then widely apply them in all fields to create boosts in productivity and efficiency.

According to Mr. Kallol Mukherjee, Vice President of Aptech Group India, to take advantage of AI, Vietnam needs to have a clear development strategy.

The talk show “Vietnam Rising in the AI Era” also featured speakers such as Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung – Head of the Nurturing Ecosystem, a typical young Vietnamese face in the field of social activities, and player Nguyen Phuc Long – Gold Medalist in Men’s Singles 9-ball at SEA Games 25. The participants shared many stories about their personal journeys. And for them, that journey was greatly assisted by the development of technology.

Meta partners with Midjourney to license AI technology for future products

Meta has signed a deal with generative AI lab Midjourney — a company that creates images from text prompts — to license the startup's "aesthetic technology" for the social media company's future models and products.

Alexandr Wang, director of AI at parent company Facebook, said the technical collaboration will connect the two companies' research teams.

“We are extremely impressed with Midjourney,” Wang shared in a post on X, adding that to deliver the best products, Meta is combining top talent, a strong compute roadmap, and partnerships with industry-leading companies.

The startup's imaging capabilities could help Meta accelerate creative features for users and marketers, potentially reducing content production costs and boosting engagement.

The deal comes at a time when Meta is restructuring its AI efforts under Superintelligence Labs, a move that has been fraught with risks after several senior staffers left and the company's latest open-source Llama 4 prototype wasn't well received.

Apple Gets Ready for Enterprise AI with New ChatGPT Configuration Option

Apple is rolling out new tools that give businesses more control over where and how their employees can tap into artificial intelligence. With the release of Apple’s software update in September, the tech giant is adding an option for business customers: the ability to configure the use of OpenAI’s enterprise version of ChatGPT.

According to OpenAI, there are now more than 5 million enterprise customers using AI services to connect to their internal data when using AI agents.

While the AI updates are the highlight of the enterprise updates slated for the fall, Apple is also rolling out other new features to its biggest customers.

Apple will also launch an API for its Apple Business Manager service, new tools for Device Management, and Return to Service solutions. These tools will also be rolled out in September as part of Apple's broader software updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and more.
