
Specifically, the company has strengthened control over compliance with regulations in the operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities; ensuring fire prevention and control, especially occupational safety and hygiene in equipment operation and maintenance, and minimizing environmental pollution. The unit regularly inspects equipment, detects defects early for timely correction, and closely coordinates with repair teams to quickly address equipment malfunctions during operation. The company also requires cross-checking between shifts, promptly reviewing, learning from experience, and adjusting and addressing errors and defects in operation; and organizes drills to handle emergency situations.
Company leaders are coordinating efforts to raise awareness and responsibility among employees to optimize operations, reduce costs, decrease self-consumption of electricity, and launch a production and safe operation emulation movement at power units to ensure electricity supply during the dry season months.
The unit has signed agreements with the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group and the Northeast Corporation to purchase 3.3 million tons of coal.

Following the direction of the National Power System Dispatch Center, the 2024 electricity generation plan for Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company is 3.807 billion kWh under Option 1 and 2.925 billion kWh under Option 2. In the first quarter of 2024, the company achieved an electricity output of 1,241 million kWh, an increase of 29.5% compared to the plan assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade .
