What's special about Hue's 2025 New Year's Countdown?

(CLO) 'Countdown Hue 2025 - A New Era' will be a performance featuring modern sound and lighting effects. Audiences will enjoy and experience the vibrant, dazzling, and colorful atmosphere of Tet in Hue.

Hue City has just announced the Countdown - Welcome to the New Year 2025 (Countdown Hue 2025 - A New Era) art program, organized by the People's Committee of Hue City in coordination with Carlsberg Vietnam Co., Ltd., with Ultra Larita Co., Ltd. responsible for its implementation.

The event will take place from 9:00 PM on December 31, 2024 to 1:00 AM on January 1, 2025 at the intersection of Van Tien Dung and Vo Nguyen Giap streets.

This is a comprehensive arts program that concludes the series of events at the Hue Festival 2024, and marks the beginning of cultural events in 2025.

The stage will be impressively designed, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Hue combined with a modern style, in the form of a grand music festival incorporating electronic dance music (EDM).

The opening segment will recreate the vibrant, dazzling, and colorful atmosphere of Hue's Tet (Lunar New Year) through modern special effects, sound, and lighting.

Audiences will also get a look back at Hue's impressive festival activities in 2024 and the efforts of the Party Committee, Government, and people in the process of making Hue a centrally-governed city.

Part 2 is an art performance program featuring various genres of modern, youthful, and vibrant music with the participation of well-known singers such as Issac, Mono, My My, DJ Trang Moon, Pay… Along with talented singers from Hue, bands with their own unique styles such as Hong Minh, Huy Thanh, Rock Band, MC Hype JKay, and DJ Shimy.

Countdown Hue is a unique, annual art program, first organized in 2020 to develop it into a distinctive tourism product.

This will significantly contribute to the socio -economic development of Hue, enabling it to become a leading cultural and tourism center, a distinctive festival city of Vietnam, and an ASEAN Cultural City.
