Currently, the mountainous areas where Acacia trees are grown have many landslides, the Department of Agriculture and Environment needs to consider and calculate to propose replacing them with medicinal plants, large timber forests, and support people to plant forests.

The report of the Da Nang City Civil Defense Command shows that on the afternoon of October 28, due to heavy rains over the past few days, a number of communes and wards in the city were deeply flooded; the total number of flooded households was over 65,000. The communes and wards have evacuated more than 1,400 households with more than 5,600 people. Regarding traffic, more than 1,880 meters of road were damaged; landslides on slopes with a volume of more than 32,800 cubic meters of earth and rock... Many key routes such as Ho Chi Minh Road, National Highway 40B, 14E, 14H, 24C, National Highway 1A... were landslides, flooding dozens of locations, paralyzing traffic, and isolating many residential areas.
