Fire Police and Rescue Force support evacuating people from deep flooded areas

According to Hue City Police, the entire force organized 100% of its personnel to be on standby to respond to floods. Thereby, mobilizing a total of about 6,350 officers, soldiers and 8,240 members of the grassroots security force to stay close to the area, ensure security and order, protect people's safety, help evacuate people and property..., limit possible damage.

According to preliminary statistics, by the afternoon of October 28, the Hue City Police force had proactively advised the government to implement a plan to evacuate 1,759 households/4,557 people in vulnerable areas, deeply flooded to safe places, and had plans to protect people's property... At the same time, the organization distributed hundreds of boxes of instant noodles, bottled water and necessities to people, not letting people go hungry and cold, especially in schools, medical facilities and households in low-lying areas as safe shelters.

In addition, the Fire Police and Rescue Force, together with the police of wards and communes, organized human resources and waterway vehicles to the flooded areas to search and assist in evacuating 1,214 elderly people, children, pregnant women and sick people to safety or to medical facilities for treatment and emergency care.

In addition, the forces also received information, organized search and rescue, and successfully supported 253 cases in deep flooded areas who called the police force for rescue. Notably, the Fire Police and Rescue force promptly approached and rescued 2 cases of capsized boats, swept away by water and trapped at the gate of Duc Buu village, Huong An ward; Thanh Thuy ward police promptly rescued 4 people whose boats capsized, and helped bring them home safely; Thuy Xuan and Phu Xuan ward police received, verified, and organized search and rescue forces for 2 missing victims in the area.
