Da Nang starts construction of 750 billion VND hotel chain on heritage road

FVG Group held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Fivitel Nam Hoi An hotel and Fivires Resort project in the Nam Hoi An tourist urban area in Da Nang city, with a budget of nearly 750 billion VND.

On the afternoon of September 3, in Duy Nghia commune (Da Nang city), FVG Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Fivitel Nam Hoi An hotel project and Fivires Resort in the Nam Hoi An tourist urban area (on the cultural heritage road connecting Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate).

The Fivitel hotel chain project and Fivirest Nam Hoi An resort have a scale of 380 rooms, built to 4 and 5 star standards with a total investment of nearly 750 billion VND, expected to be officially completed in 2026.

Specifically, Fivires Nam Hoi An Resort is a 5-star resort with 140 rooms, total investment of 423 billion VND, including a system of villas, synchronous commercial and entertainment services. Meanwhile, Fivitel Nam Hoi An Hotel is a 4-star hotel, 12 floors high with 240 rooms, total investment of 325.8 billion VND.

The project promises to bring about a strong transformation to change the face of the lands, laying the foundation for turning the heritage route Hoi An - My Son - Dong Giang Heaven Gate into a route to identify the Central region's tourism brand on the domestic and international tourism map.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FVG Group, said: "With the spirit of Da Nang City rising up in the new era, we believe that the project will be a meaningful first step, creating a chain of high-quality tourism infrastructure, capable of serving millions of tourists each year, while creating momentum for economic development, improving the lives of local people on this tourist route".

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Thai Binh , Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, affirmed that the city will always accompany and create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule, safely and effectively. In addition, the city will direct departments, branches and sectors to accelerate connecting traffic infrastructure to form a seamless and attractive tourism chain in this area.

Along with a series of key projects started in Da Nang, the Fivitel Nam Hoi An hotel project and Fivires Resort started construction in accordance with the city's planning and sustainable development orientation in the new period, expanding the development space to the east of the city, while reaffirming the position of Da Nang's tourism and service center after the merger.

"With the support of pioneering enterprises like FVG, we believe that the project will contribute to realizing the vision of making Da Nang a leading attractive destination in the region, associated with a unique chain of cultural and heritage values," the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee emphasized.
