The 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 was a great success.

After 3 days of serious and responsible work in the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", on the morning of September 30, the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 completed all the proposed content and program, and held the closing session.

This morning, the Congress spent time in the Hall discussing the contents of the documents presented at the Congress. Accordingly, the delegates focused on discussing issues such as: promoting the strength of national solidarity; improving the quality of social supervision and criticism; participating in building a strong Party and government; promoting education on thrift, integrity in the political system in conjunction with promoting the prevention and fight against corruption, waste and negativity.

Along with that, opinions focused on major issues such as orientation of socio -economic development, building the Party and political system, ensuring national defense and security, promoting the potential and advantages of the province after the merger. In particular, practical solutions and proposals put forward by delegates demonstrated the intelligence, enthusiasm and aspirations of cadres, party members and people, contributing to the completion of documents, serving as a basis for the Congress to resolve key goals and tasks in the coming term.

The Congress passed the draft Resolution, approved the contents of the assessment of the implementation results of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and the directions, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term stated in the Political Report submitted to the Congress.

The Congress unanimously determined the general goals for the next term as follows: Building a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects; ensuring national defense and security; promoting all potentials, advantages, resources and human factors, effectively exploiting new growth drivers, creating a breakthrough in building Lao Cai province into a growth pole, a center connecting economic trade between Vietnam and ASEAN countries with the Southwest region - China in the direction of "green, harmony, identity, happiness" associated with the goal of "Preserving the border, preserving the people, preserving the forest, preserving the water, preserving the environment". By 2045, Lao Cai will become the northern development center of the country; a center connecting economic trade between Vietnam and ASEAN countries with China and Europe. The documents adopted at this Congress are built on the basis of an objective and in-depth summary, affirming the important and outstanding achievements that have been achieved, frankly pointing out the limitations, weaknesses, causes, and experiences drawn after 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; at the same time, closely following the development orientation in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the local practical situation, truly innovating thinking to determine the direction, goals, tasks, and solutions for the coming term with the requirement of rapid and sustainable development.

The Congress approved the Report synthesizing the opinions contributed by the Provincial Party Committee to the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. The Provincial Party Committee, Term I, and the Delegation to the 14th National Congress were appointed by the Politburo and the Secretariat, demonstrating the Central Committee's trust, appreciation and expectations for the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.
