The First Congress of Women's Representatives of Khanh Hoa Province, term 2025-2030

On December 12th, the First Congress of Women's Representatives of Khanh Hoa Province, for the term 2025-2030, officially opened. Attending and directing the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; and Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa Province.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province - presented a congratulatory banner from the Provincial Party Committee to the Congress.

The event was attended by 295 official delegates representing 322,725 members throughout the province.

In her opening remarks at the congress, Comrade Nguyen Quynh Nga - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, and President of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union - stated that during the 2021-2025 term, the Women's Union at all levels in Khanh Hoa province has implemented many innovative and creative approaches, creating a strong vitality at each branch, sub-branch, and among its members.

Patriotic emulation movements, poverty reduction, vocational training, and women's entrepreneurship have spread widely. The Women's Union has implemented 2,672 out of 1,765 projects/tasks in building new rural areas; built and renovated 459 houses for disadvantaged women and children, awarded 3,288 scholarships; provided 306 savings accounts, and 52,714 gifts to disadvantaged women and children, poor but academically excellent students... with a total amount of nearly 100 billion VND. The role of women has been affirmed in all aspects.

Comrade Nguyen Quynh Nga - Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Chairperson of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union, delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

With the theme of the Congress: “Khanh Hoa women promote the strength of solidarity, courage, intelligence, creativity, and aspiration to rise up; working together to build a prosperous, civilized, and happy Khanh Hoa province,” the First Congress of Women's Representatives of Khanh Hoa province, term 2025-2030, has identified important directions and tasks, demonstrating the determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress, striving to excellently complete the tasks set forth by the Congress, contributing to building a prosperous, civilized, and happy Khanh Hoa province, and moving with the country into a new era.

Delegates visit the display of products from successful female entrepreneurs during the 2021-2025 term, showcased to welcome the Congress.

Specifically, by the end of the term, the entire province will increase its membership by at least 16,000 compared to the beginning of the term; help at least 3,000 households with women escape multidimensional poverty and near-poverty; enhance the capacity, knowledge, and specialized skills of 1,500 women entrepreneurs and business owners; establish 5 new cooperatives with women participating in management; 100% of commune-level women's unions will mobilize and support 5,000 households to meet the criteria of "5 no's, 3 clean, 3 safe families"; register and implement at least 400 projects/tasks participating in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas…

Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, delivered a speech at the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Minh Huong acknowledged and praised the proud achievements of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union in the past term.

The comrade also suggested that during the 2025-2030 term, more attention should be paid to innovating and improving the dissemination of information, building the image of Khanh Hoa women to meet the requirements of the new era with a friendly, dynamic, strong, and confident image for international integration. Always placing members and women at the center, taking the legitimate rights and interests and the progress of women as the goal to strongly awaken the self-respect, independence, self-reliance, and aspiration for advancement in each woman. All levels of the Women's Union must truly be a support system and a safe home for women and their families. Focus on effectively implementing government projects in the province, especially the Project to Support Women's Entrepreneurship giai đoạn 2026-2035 recently approved by the Prime Minister.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, delivered a speech guiding the Congress.

In his address to the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Khac Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, requested the Khanh Hoa Women's Union to fully absorb the directives of the Central Women's Union; develop a specific and creative action program; promote the role of women in the digital age; research and effectively implement the 10 orientations suggested by General Secretary To Lam for the organization; and closely follow the Resolution and work program for the 2025-2030 term approved by the First Provincial Party Congress to concretize them with programs and plans that contribute to the successful achievement of the set goals and tasks.

Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Nguyen Thi Minh Huong, presented gifts and congratulations from the Central Committee to the Congress.

Focus on improving the quality of emulation movements and economic development for women; promote digital transformation through the "one woman - one basic digital skill" movement; care for family life, social security, and protect children and women. Continue to upgrade the "Building a family with 5 no's and 3 clean's" campaign to "Building a family with 5 no's, 3 clean's, and 3 safe's"; focus on training and developing a pool of women's association officials with strong political acumen, qualities, and expertise; proactively advise on increasing the proportion of female officials in Party committees, leadership structures, and People's Council representatives in the next term…

The Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union, term I, 2025-2030, was introduced at the congress.

The Congress announced the decision of the Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union appointing the Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 51 members; and the Standing Committee consisting of 17 members.

The Congress also appointed Comrade Nguyen Quynh Nga - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province - to the position of Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union for the term 2025-2030 and 2 Vice Chairmen; appointed the Inspection Committee and the Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Women's Union, term I, 2025-2030; and appointed the delegation to attend the 14th National Women's Congress, term 2026-2031, consisting of 15 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates.
