The 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh Loc District, term 2024-2029

On August 2nd, the Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh Loc district held its 6th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. 105 delegates representing over 15,000 young people attended the Congress.

During the past term, the work of the Youth Union and youth movement in Vinh Loc district has achieved outstanding results, with 7 out of 8 targets met or exceeded the set plan. A prime example is the "All People Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" campaign, with 65 youth projects implemented, worth nearly 1 billion VND. Volunteer activities ensuring social welfare have created a ripple effect in the community. Specifically, over 2 billion VND was raised to visit and give gifts to policy beneficiary families and families in difficult circumstances; over 1,600 young people participated in blood donation, collecting 1,550 units of safe blood...

Le Xuan Luong, Secretary of the District Youth Union and President of the Vinh Loc District Youth Union Federation, 5th term, delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

The work of building the Youth Union organization has undergone many changes, with activities becoming more in-depth and impacting many young people; the front of solidarity and mobilization of youth has been strengthened and expanded.

Building on the achievements of the past term, for the 2024-2029 term, the Vinh Loc District Youth Union will focus on the goal of building strong unions at all levels, expanding the front of youth solidarity, contributing to building a generation of Vinh Loc youth with dreams, ambitions, and aspirations to strive for self-improvement and national development; and contributing to making Vinh Loc a prosperous district of the province by 2025.

The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh Loc District, term VI, 2024-2029, was introduced at the congress.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Vinh Loc District, term VI, 2024-2029, consisting of 21 members. Mr. Mai Tuan Linh was elected as the Chairman of the Union.

The Congress also deliberated and elected a delegation to attend the 7th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, term 2024-2029.
