Besides father Khac Trieu and mother Cam Van, many artists came to celebrate CeCe Truong's debut EP release, including: musician Huy Tuan, singer Dam Vinh Hung, MC Hien Mai, MC Trac Thuy Mieu, singer Nguyen Hung...
At the event, CeCe Truong broke down in tears when recalling past traumas. Renowned singer Cam Van, who went on stage to comfort her daughter, also couldn't hold back her tears.
Dam Vinh Hung, a close uncle who witnessed CeCe Truong's journey of growth, expressed his affection for her but also reminded the female singer that she should change.

"I'm so surprised you've endured so much. Why did you choose that path? No! From now on, you have to change. You're young, you have the right to fail many more times. Only I'm no longer young enough to have that right. Every time we meet, you're always grinning, I don't know how much sorrow you're carrying inside," he said.
Nevertheless, Dam Vinh Hung is happy that CeCe Truong has finally revealed her talent and distinct personality. He believes that her psychological wounds have helped the female singer sing much better than before.
The EP "Straight Curves" consists of 4 songs: "Escape," "Go Away," "The Fire Goes Out," and "No Longer Human," marking a transformation for singer CeCe Truong in both music and appearance.
The songs reflect different versions of her on her journey through hurt and suffering, learning to let go and rediscover herself.

She explained that the title, "The Straight Lines," represents a journey of growth, transforming chaos (the curves) into order (the straight lines), and ultimately finding light at the end of the tunnel.
The product combines various genres and elements, from pop ballad - "Escape ," electro pop - " Go Away, " soul R&B - "Fire Extinguished," to pop R&B - "No Longer Human ," to express a complex range of emotions: hurt, melancholy, longing, and loneliness.
In the EP, the girl resolutely leaves when the love has reached its end. But after all that, she feels empty, realizing that she lost herself because of love.
CeCe Truong conveys a consistent message: Love can change, but from pain, people can still find strength and freedom.
Except for the last song, "No Longer Human ," the first three songs were all written by CeCe Truong based on personal experiences, not only about relationships and friendships but also about the challenges of growing up.
"There were days when I was so exhausted I fainted, times when I felt like I had no energy left to continue, and even had to seek medical help to overcome psychological issues," she said, explaining her reasons for writing music.
CeCe Truong's invaluable collaborator is producer Duy Tran, a lecturer at the Musicians Institute and a master's graduate from the University of Southern California. He was a member of the music production team for the 2024 Grammy-nominated album Mythologies II .
