In the dubbed version of “96 Minutes of Death ” (the film that led the box office revenue in Taipei, China in 2025) just released in the Vietnamese market, there is the participation of a cast of voice actors including Meritorious Artists Kim Xuan, Thai Hoa, Thanh Son, Phuong Nam...

In particular, Miss Doan Thien An voices the female lead Huynh Han, a female criminal police officer and also the fiancée of the male lead Tong Khang Nhan; Miss Tieu Vy voices Duong Dinh Quyen, the young wife of Luu Khai; King Tuan Ngoc voices the character A Ken.

The Vietnamese voice actors also recently had a reunion with the Taiwanese (Chinese) film crew including male lead Lam Bach Hoanh, actor Ly Ly Nhan, director Hung Tu Huyen...

Miss Tieu Vy said that before starting the dubbing, the crew had described the psychological lines of the character Duong Dinh Quyen in detail. “ The psychological lines of this character are very good and really moved me, especially in the emotional scenes between Duong Dinh Quyen and her husband or younger brother , ” she shared.

Tieu Vy admits that this is not a small challenge: " The difficulty is that the inner strength in the voice must be very precise, sometimes even needing to ' exaggerate ' a little to fully express the emotion. "

Meanwhile, Miss Doan Thien An expressed her excitement at taking on a new role, after a period of stepping into the acting field. The character that Thien An plays is a brave, calm policewoman who never backs down under pressure. “ When transforming into a voice, I have to adjust my energy to be stronger and more decisive, so that the audience can feel the character's determination in the most breathtaking moments ,” Thien An shared.

As for Mr. Tuan Ngoc, he said that the dubbing process helped him understand more about voice acting. With his experience as an MC, Mr. World Vietnam 2024 said that his voice advantage helps him better control his breathing and stress. However, the transition from a narration voice to a cinematic voiceover is still a big challenge.

According to Tuan Ngoc: “ Just a few seconds of dialogue but it requires a lot of concentration in addition to emotions and techniques. I have to blend into A Ken's emotions to avoid the dialogue being ' read ' , but to really sound like this character is speaking. The role of A Ken also helps me learn how to transform through breathing, tone and volume . ”
