Individualizing the responsibility of individuals involved in the case at Cong Minh Green Tree Company

Regarding the investigation related to Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited, according to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security , the investigation agency is currently requesting agencies in the appraisal council of 16 provinces and cities to conduct asset appraisals of 413 projects.

On the afternoon of December 7th, at the regular government press conference for November, in response to questions about the progress of investigations into major cases recently, especially the case involving Cong Minh Greenery Company Limited in various provinces and cities, Major General Hoang Anh Tuyen, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, stated that major cases related to Phuc Son Group and Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company are currently being investigated urgently and actively by the investigative agencies of the Ministry of Public Security to ensure their early conclusion.

"To date, there is no further information that can be provided immediately, so we will provide updates on the case to the press at an appropriate time," Mr. Tuyen said.

Regarding the case of Cong Minh Green Tree Company Limited, according to Mr. Tuyen, this case was prosecuted on May 8, 2024 for two crimes: "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences"; and "Giving and receiving bribes".

“Currently, the case has been initiated, but no suspects have been charged yet. To have grounds to resolve this case, the investigating agency is currently requesting the appraisal councils of 16 provinces and cities to conduct asset appraisals for 413 projects in those 16 provinces and cities. To date, one province has concluded its assessment, while the remaining provinces are continuing the appraisal process. The investigating agency is actively coordinating with the appraisal councils to provide additional information, files, and necessary documents to support the asset appraisal process. We are making every effort to focus on the investigation to clarify and individualize the responsibilities of the individuals involved in order to handle the case in accordance with the law,” Mr. Tuyen informed regarding the case of Cong Minh Greenery Company Limited.
