
On the afternoon of December 11th, at a press conference announcing the results of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Comrade Le Quang Manh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office, stated that after 40 days of responsible and effective work, the National Assembly had completed its entire agenda.
This session marked a record milestone with the passage of 51 laws and 8 normative resolutions – the largest number ever. The National Assembly also considered and decided on 21 items and groups of items in the fields of socio -economic affairs, state budget, supreme supervision work, etc.
The 10th session of the 15th National Assembly was the final regular session of the term, taking place immediately after the very successful 13th Conference of the Central Committee of the 13th Party Congress to consider and decide on many strategic issues of special importance for the orientation of national development in the new era.

After 40 days of continuous, urgent, and serious work, with a scientific spirit, innovation, and high responsibility, the 10th Session concluded successfully, completing all the planned content and agenda.
The National Assembly reviewed and passed 51 laws and 8 normative resolutions; conducted a review of the work of state agencies during the 2021-2026 term; considered and decided on personnel matters within its authority; conducted thematic supervision on "the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 came into effect"; discussed and provided feedback on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; considered and decided on socio-economic issues, the state budget, investment policies for national target programs, important national projects, and adjustments to the National Master Plan. Reviewing reports on judicial work, anti-corruption efforts, crime prevention and control, law violations, results of monitoring the resolution of voter petitions, citizen reception, handling of letters and complaints, and resolution of citizen grievances and denunciations, along with several other important issues.
At this session, the volume of legislative work considered and approved by the National Assembly was very large, accounting for 30% of the total number of laws and normative legal resolutions issued during the entire term.
Furthermore, the National Assembly also passed numerous laws and resolutions with significant impact to promptly institutionalize the Party's new policies and resolutions on judicial reform, combating corruption, waste, and negative practices; focusing on decentralization and delegation of power, removing institutional bottlenecks, especially in the areas of land, investment, planning, construction, environment, and energy; promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; strengthening the management and development of the press in the context of strong digital transformation; strengthening disaster prevention, mitigation, and recovery, rescue, and relief; proactively and comprehensively integrating into the international community; and building a legal framework for new fields such as artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and cybersecurity.
Affirming that this is a particularly important milestone in the 15th National Assembly term, Comrade Le Quang Manh emphasized that the important results of the session were achieved thanks to the close attention and leadership of the Central Committee, along with the close and effective coordination between the National Assembly's agencies and the Government, ministries, sectors, and related agencies.

In that overall success, the press played a particularly important role, truly serving as a reliable bridge between the National Assembly and voters, the people of the whole country, and international friends.
Press agencies have closely collaborated with the National Assembly Office in information and propaganda work; comprehensively and objectively reflecting the developments of the sessions; and promptly conveying the legitimate concerns and aspirations of voters to the parliamentary chamber.
The Secretary General of the National Assembly respectfully acknowledges and highly appreciates the efforts and sense of responsibility of the team of reporters, editors, and technicians who worked throughout the duration of the session.
Comrade Le Quang Manh also stated that, after the session, the National Assembly will continue to prepare for major tasks in 2026, including summarizing the term, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly, preparing for the election of the 16th National Assembly, and developing the legislative program and supervision plan for the next term.
