The commune comprises 20 villages, 3,165 households, and 14,231 inhabitants from six ethnic groups living together; the poverty rate is 3.41%. Currently, the commune has 60 civil servants, including 59 with university degrees and 1 with a secondary education. The commune's Party Committee has 1,058 members and 36 branches. After the merger, the commune enjoys many advantages but also faces some difficulties and obstacles that require attention, support, and guidance from the province.
