Assessment of policy credit activities in the first 7 months of 2025

On the afternoon of August 6, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Social Policy Bank (PSB) held a conference to evaluate the performance of the first 7 months of 2025 and deploy directions and tasks for the last months of the year. Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Board of Directors of the Provincial PSB chaired the conference.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

After rearranging the commune-level administrative units, the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch maintained 381 transaction points in 104 communes and wards in the province; transaction days at the transaction points were still carried out according to the monthly plan. According to the report of the Provincial Social Policy Bank's Board of Directors, by the end of July 2025, the total outstanding debt of policy credit programs in the province reached nearly 10 trillion VND, with nearly 159 thousand customers borrowing capital; overdue debt and frozen debt accounted for 0.1% of total outstanding debt.

In the final months of the year, the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank of the province continued to direct the provincial branch of the Social Policy Bank to closely follow the directives from the central and provincial authorities and regulations to effectively implement the social policy credit program; strengthen inspection and supervision work and coordinate the implementation of transaction and entrustment activities through socio- political organizations.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: The effective implementation of the policy credit program will help poor households and social policy beneficiaries access preferential capital sources to invest in family economic development and improve their quality of life. He requested that in the coming time, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Social Policy Bank continue to promote its role and responsibility, and perform well the assigned tasks; develop plans and promptly organize inspections and supervision of credit activities on a quarterly basis; assign the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch to coordinate with relevant units to review documents to advise the Provincial People's Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Social Policy Bank to issue documents suitable to the new situation; review and arrange staff in accordance with their capacity and job positions; coordinate in reviewing and grasping the needs of loan beneficiaries; effectively manage capital sources, disburse loans, and supervise the use of loans to ensure efficiency and practicality.
