Among these are two sites in Ninh Binh province: the Tam Chuc Scenic and Archaeological Complex (Tam Chuc ward, former Ha Nam province), and the Co Le Pagoda historical and architectural site (Co Le commune, former Nam Dinh province).

Also included in this ranking are two historical sites: the Tomb of Deputy Scholar Nguyen Sinh Sac (Cao Lanh Ward, Dong Thap Province) and the Historical Sites commemorating the Nghe Tinh Soviet Movement (1930-1931) in Nghe An Province.

Tam Chuc Scenic Area, located in Tam Chuc Ward, Ninh Binh Province, is a tropical humid limestone karst landscape with outstanding geological significance, similar to Trang An. This scenic area also represents ecological and biological processes, serving as the habitat of the white-buttocked langur, one of the world's rarest primate species, with a population of over 400 individuals.

Tam Chúc is also recognized by archaeologists as a dwelling place of ancient Vietnamese people, influenced by the Hoa Binh culture dating back 20,000 to 30,000 years. This area also preserves traces of the formation and development of Buddhism, particularly associated with Zen Master Nguyen Minh Khong during the Ly Dynasty and Emperor Tran Nhan Tong.

Co Le Pagoda (Co Le commune, Ninh Binh province)

Meanwhile, Co Le Pagoda, whose official name is Than Quang Temple, located in Co Le commune, Ninh Binh province, was built during the Ly Dynasty (12th century) and is associated with the merits of the revered founder Nguyen Minh Khong.

The temple is particularly notable for its unique architectural style, harmoniously blending traditional Eastern architecture with Western Gothic architecture, reflecting the fusion of Buddhism and Christianity.

Despite numerous historical events, the structure has been preserved almost in its original state, becoming an extremely rare masterpiece of East-West architectural design.

With the two newly recognized sites, Ninh Binh province now has 10 special national historical sites, including: the Trang An - Tam Coc - Bich Dong scenic complex (Tay Hoa Lu and Nam Hoa Lu wards); the Tran Temple and Pho Minh Pagoda complex (Nam Dinh ward); the Hoa Lu ancient capital complex (Tay Hoa Lu ward); the Tran Thuong Temple (Tran Thuong commune); Keo Hanh Thien Pagoda (Xuan Hong commune); Long Doi Son Pagoda (Tien Son ward); Non Nuoc Mountain (Hoa Lu ward); Xam Temple (Hong Quang ward); Tam Chuc scenic area (Tam Chuc ward) and Co Le Pagoda (Co Le commune).
