The official answer key for the Japanese language exam, as announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, is as follows:

From 2025, the way to calculate high school graduation scores will change according to new regulations. The formula for calculating high school graduation scores will be divided equally 50-50 between graduation exam scores and academic results of all three years of high school.
Specifically, the high school graduation score includes 3 components: total score of high school graduation exam subjects converted to a 10-point scale, average score of high school years, priority points and incentive points if any.
In the average grade for all school years, the academic results of grade 10 are weighted with a coefficient of 1, the academic results of grade 11 with a coefficient of 2, and the academic results of grade 12 with a coefficient of 3.
The academic result for each year is the average of all subjects graded with scores for that academic year, rounded to two decimal places.
The formula for calculating the average grade (GPA) for the years of high school is as follows:
Average grade for all school years = [(Average grade in grade 10 x 1) + (Average grade in grade 11 x 2) + (Average grade in grade 12 x 3)]/6
The formula for calculating high school graduation scores is as follows:
Increasing the use of school transcripts from 30% to 50% is intended to more accurately assess students' abilities according to the 2018 General Education Program, including many other competencies that the graduation exam does not fully evaluate.
In addition, report cards from grades 10 and 11 are also used to promote teaching and learning right from when students enter high school.
Foreign language certificates can still be used to exempt exams in graduation recognition but cannot be converted into 10 points in graduation recognition as before; the graduation score calculation formula does not include foreign language points in this case.
