Heavy rains over the past few days have caused serious landslides on the road leading up to Mui Trau Pass (Hoa Bac commune). The soil and rocks spilling onto the road not only obstruct traffic but also pose a potential accident risk to people passing through the area. |

Mr. Nguyen Truong, a local resident, shared: “This road has many landslide points, and just a few more heavy rains will make it very dangerous. Mud and soil spill onto half the road surface, making it very difficult for us to travel. Some landslide areas are littered with rocks and soil, and there are no warning signs, so driving down the pass is very risky. Some sections are also at risk of further landslides if the bad weather continues.” |

Mr. Truong Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Hoa Bac Commune People's Committee, said: The commune is contracting with a construction unit to bring vehicles to handle and repair the landslides and rockfalls that have spilled onto the road near the Mui Trau tunnel pass. In the La Nga pass area, near the Hoa Lien water plant, the commune has also placed warning signs to remind people and ensure safety for vehicles traveling through the area. |
