From now until the end of the year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will promote the stimulus program associated with market stabilization to serve the 2024 Lunar New Year, organize stimulus programs associated with the cultural and tourism industries to both attract tourists and increase purchasing power.

Ms. Le Viet Nga, Deputy Director of the Domestic Market Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said that this year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with provinces and cities and local Departments of Industry and Trade to promote stimulus programs associated with market stabilization, creating connections to get the most reasonable costs at all stages to help Vietnamese goods reach domestic consumers quickly and effectively.
According to Ms. Nga: "We also see that consumers are very enthusiastic about consuming domestically produced goods, giving priority to using regional specialties, products that stabilize the market, and contribute to social security. Localities are actively participating in stimulating domestic consumption in conjunction with economic recovery."
With just over 3 months left until the peak shopping season at the end of the year, along with ensuring supply and demand of goods, in order to stabilize the market, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requires the Market Management force to focus on inspecting and handling violations in the production and business of a number of essential industries.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade also strengthens inspection and control at business establishments and wholesale and retail markets to grasp the supply source as well as selling prices, and takes timely measures to prevent violations of hoarding and speculation that affect market prices.
