Quang Ninh province has always identified tourism as one of its key economic sectors, prioritizing investment and development. In reality, the province has been investing in the right direction, with the tourism industry steadily developing, contributing to Quang Ninh's economic growth and providing employment for tens of thousands of workers. To ensure continued breakthrough growth in tourism, Quang Ninh is actively diversifying its promotional and marketing efforts, thereby attracting more domestic and international tourists to destinations within the province.
To enhance the attractiveness of Quang Ninh tourism, recently, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, met and worked with Vietravel Tourism & Aviation Group to promote cooperation in tourism development. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that with Vietravel's experience, potential, and ecosystem, they will continue to support, advise, and invest in building competitive tourism products, increasing the attractiveness of Quang Ninh tourism, strengthening destination promotion both domestically and internationally, and making Quang Ninh a tourism hub connecting the region and the world.
Expressing their gratitude for being received and working with the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of Vietravel Tourism & Aviation Group affirmed that Quang Ninh has always been one of the key tourist destinations that Vietravel focuses on exploiting. The company will continue to research the direction of exploiting Van Don International Airport effectively in the future. At the same time, they will leverage the value of local culinary culture to create culinary tourism products with a strong local character; and implement the Go Green campaign with green and sustainable tourism experiences.

In recent times, not only have provincial leaders directly met with and worked with major tourism and travel corporations and businesses to promote tourism, but relevant departments, agencies, and localities have also proactively promoted tourism, thereby creating more appeal for Quang Ninh's destinations.
The Quang Ninh Tourism Association (Vietnam) and the Jeju Island Tourism Association (South Korea) recently organized a Jeju-Quang Ninh tourism networking program. The two sides signed a cooperation agreement to promote the development of joint tourism products, thereby boosting tourist exchanges between the two parties. They also discussed the launch and development of flights from Jeju Island to Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh.
The Quang Ninh Provincial Tourism Promotion Delegation, comprising representatives from the Department of Tourism, the Tourism Information and Promotion Center, the Quang Ninh Provincial Tourism Association, and tourism businesses, participated in the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2024. At the fair, Quang Ninh had a booth showcasing and promoting its tourism destinations and products under the theme "Quang Ninh - A Tourism Center Connecting with the Region and the World." The booth focused on displaying information and images of Ha Long Bay, the Yen Tu historical and scenic site, Binh Lieu, Co To, and Mong Cai, linked to key projects such as Van Don International Airport, the Ha Long - Van Don - Mong Cai expressway, and the Ha Long International Cruise Port; as well as images of the four main tourism centers and typical tourism products and services of Quang Ninh province.
At the local level, to stimulate tourism, the People's Committee of Ha Long City organized a tourism promotion and advertising workshop with the theme "Ha Long – A Complete Experience," with the participation of over 100 tourism experts, representatives of businesses in the service supply chain of Quang Ninh and many localities nationwide, as well as several tourism promotion media units. This is one of the key events aimed at introducing and promoting Ha Long's outstanding and unique tourism products and services to investors in the service and tourism sectors and travel businesses. From there, it aims to strengthen linkages and cooperation in tourism development with key domestic and international markets; diversify tourism promotion and advertising activities in Ha Long City; and attract tourists and investors to the tourism sector and tourism products.
To keep pace with the digital transformation trend, Quang Ninh tourism is proactively transforming itself, strengthening promotion and marketing on digital platforms. Specifically, the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism and the Ha Long City Business Association have collaborated to launch the website amazinghalong.vn and the TikTok channel Food Tour Quang Ninh. The amazinghalong.vn website is Quang Ninh's first website to integrate digital tourism map technology, allowing tourists to easily search for entertainment, relaxation, and exploration destinations in Quang Ninh. The website incorporates modern digital technologies such as digital maps, virtual reality images, and augmented reality to help tourists find detailed information and images, optimizing their travel itineraries in Quang Ninh. The website connects directly with the TikTok channel Food Tour Quang Ninh to introduce tourists to the addresses and information of restaurants, eateries, and local specialties.
With its rich potential for developing the "non-polluting industry" (tourism, tourism, and tourism industry) and diverse experiences such as cultural, historical, and spiritual tourism; ecotourism; beach and island tourism; and rural and border tourism, Quang Ninh, with its stunning natural landscapes and friendly, hospitable people, has been and continues to be a popular destination for many tourists.
With its diverse destinations, experiences, and entertainment options, coupled with intensified tourism promotion and marketing efforts, Quang Ninh is determined to achieve its goal of attracting at least 17 million tourists, including 3 million international visitors, in 2024.
