Speed ​​up the restoration of Huong Ap Pagoda

The project to restore Huong Ap Pagoda in Ly Nam De National Relic Site, Tien Phong Ward, Pho Yen City (now Van Xuan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province) was appraised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and approved by the Provincial People's Committee in August 2023, with a total investment of more than VND 89.4 billion from socialized sources, to be implemented in 3 years.

The project includes many items, such as: Tam Quan, Tam Bao, To house, Mau house, bell tower - drum tower, King Ly Nam De temple and preservation house.

Up to now, the Tam Bao house has completed about 60% of the volume; the Ancestral Temple has reached about 80%. The construction unit has proactively mobilized and increased skilled workers for construction. The frame and columns of the project are made by hand, imbued with traditional architectural and artistic values.

Currently, the sculpture-related work is being rushed to completion. The construction unit is taking advantage of favorable weather conditions to synchronously deploy the remaining items, striving to complete the frame of the project in about 2 months.

The restoration of Huong Ap Pagoda not only contributes to preserving and maintaining historical relics associated with the homeland and career of King Ly Nam De, but also creates a majestic and imposing architectural work, a highlight in the cultural and spiritual space of Thai Nguyen province, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism, national pride and developing local tourism.
